Report: Russia resumes exports of diamonds to India
NEW DELHI, Mar 17 (PRIME) -- Russia has resumed exports of diamonds to India, Economic Times reported on Thursday.
"Rough diamonds from Russia's partly state-owned diamond mining company ALROSA have started coming to India after a pause and diamond exporters are making payments in euro through German banks to avoid problems related to sanctions on Russia," the newspaper reported.
The German banks delayed the payment by a week. The Indian companies and ALROSA might choose payments in rupees and rubles in the future.
